Instructions on how to Unlock Alcatel Y580Q Mobile WiFi Hotspot Router:
1. Make sure device is fully charged, then change the default SIM with another network provider’s SIM and connect to PC using its default USB cable.
2. It will automatically redirect you to unlocking page, if not then browse for http:192.168.1.1 and login to router (default user name : admin / password : admin).
3. After login into the device, it will prompt you for a NCK / Unlock code.
4. Go to connection menu, and you will the device will give you 10 attemps to enter the NCK / unlock code.
5. Enter the correct NCK / unlock code according to IMEI and device will be unlockedforever (always buy genuine unlock code).
If your modem is with customized firmware and is not prompting for unlock code, you can also send the NCK code into Alcatel modem using Alcatel Modem NCK Inserter.
Note: NCK / Unlock code for Alcatel Y580 (Y580Q) Wind MiFi router is not free.
